So i dont know much when it comes to building PCs. Im buying a PC off a buddy and it only has an ssd but i have an hdd from my my last pc. Is it easy to connect my hdd and also what cables do i keep/need from my old pc

Solution
Yes, if you mean using the HDD as a 2nd drive and keeping the SSD as the boot drive. Just pop it in the drive cage and connect it to the PSU and the motherboard's SATA header with the same kind of cables the SSD is connected with.

You'll need one of the unused daisy-chained SATA power connectors from the PSU and another SATA data cable like the one connecting the SSD to the board. When you boot to Win, you may have to initialize the HDD in "computer management/storage/disk management" before it is recognized.
