Is it worth saving for a 980ti? Ive got a new build with an i7 6700k and 16gb drr4, so i need a decent gpu to match, i cant decide between a gtx 980 and a 980ti, now its obvious the ti is better however its also considerably more expensive , so my question is , is it worth saving for a 980ti or just get a 980.

Devon_20 In my humble opinion, all four responses were relevant to your question. Both the GTX 980 and 980 Ti are one generation old. The appropriate new generation replacements, that have equivalent performance, are the GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1070 respectively. The only reason that a person should consider purchasing a 980 or 980 Ti in Q1 of 2017 is because they could obtain them at a great discount. Without you furnishing that information on prices, it's impossible to answer your question appropriately.
