Should I buy my PSU first

I only have $70 (cad) at the moment. im trying to upgrade my hp slimline 260-p109 (http://h20386.www2.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/product.aspx?sel=DTP&id=X6G08AA&opt=ABL) i want to get a new case, motherboard, GPU, and PSU I already have an idea of what GPU and Motherboard I'm getting (atx, micro atx, or mini itx)and I know what case I'm getting. my question is,
Could I buy my PSU first? (I already have the PC BTW)

I would always advise waiting until you have enough money to buy as many parts as you can in one go.

The reason for this is that PC hardware gets updated so quickly - a single component may be obsolete within one year - and therefore the landscape of the market can change dramatically over a short period of time.

There would be absolutely no point in you getting a new PSU at this time, as it would just collect dust until you have the other parts. In that time, it may drop in price or something better may come along, or you change your mind and want something more power hungry and that PSU isnt good enough any more, or you end up having to spend your money else where because of other circumstances etc etc etc.

If you want to buy something now before you buy other parts, buy a case.
