So i recently bought a 128gb ssd and also cloned windows onto it from my hdd. My problem is that im trying to figure out on how to make it the bootable drive. I made the priority of the drive to 1 in bios and it still doesnt work. My problem is that im trying to get rid of the hdd and also buy another 250gb ssd for more storage. Please help and thanks. I have also have a pic on the situation/: http://imgur.com/a/TOjpj

I unplugged the hdd from the sata but not the sata to the motherboard, would that matter?

Just a few questions...

1. Are we talking about a Win 10 OS here?

2. The disk-cloning operation failed since your 1 TB HDD still remains the boot drive.

3. Is that 39 MB first partition on the 1 TB HDD the System Recovery partition? If not, what is it? Is there any data in that partition? If so, how much? (You'll probably have to assign a drive letter in Disk Management to explore the contents of that partition).

4. I'm assuming Win 10 was either fresh-installed on the 1 TB HDD at some time or perhaps that OS was cloned from another drive to the 1 TB HDD.

5. Is the PC a self-built machine or a custom PC or is it an OEM PC? (Oh, I did see a reference to "OEM partition")

6. Before the disk-cloning attempt to your 128 GB SSD was the 1 TB operation without problems? It booted to the Win 10 OS OK and functioned fine?

7. As best I can tell there's hardly any data in the entire system (the two drives) excepting (apparently) OS files in the 1 TB C: partition and the SSD's D: partition. The only other location where it appears there is some data is in the E: partition of the 1 TB HDD - perhaps 13 GB to 14 GB worth of data. Is this right?

Please respond to my questions clearly and in detail, OK?
