Is my i7 870 overheating

Hi everyone, i am new here and i wanted to ask you guys, why my processor an intel i7 870 2.93ghz gets too damn hot, in idle it gets over 48-50c ° and using just google chrome and others programs gets 74-80c ° even something Goes up to 99c ° all four colors !! Why is it too hot? Is not overclocked, only turbo boost is enable. I am using the stock cooler and some cheap thermo paste, I dont know if its the thermo paste or something else but that is not normal. Should i buy a good thermo paste? Will it reduce the temps? Thanks for your time, I would appreciate your help! Sorry for my english

I would check to see if the 4 push-pin feet are securely through the board and locked under it. Many times a loose mounting foot will cause that.

Yeah, first you should check if your cooler is making a proper contact with your CPU, if it does maybe you didnt put enough thermal paste? Too much or too little thermal paste shouldnt make your CPU run at 100 degrees but you should get a better one anyway.
