Hello, I am using an old NVS 290 for my work computer, it has 256 mb of GDDR2 memory, and I am going to add a 2 GB GeForce GT 730 Graphics Card with 2 GB of DDR3 memory. I have started using a GPU intensive program, will the motherboard combine the total memory of the cards or should I keep it on one of the screens the 2 GB card is plugged into? I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

If it matters, my power supply is 525 watts

They are better for design work, it doesn't sound like you need a Quadro then. Yes, the 730 should be able to drive the two monitors, as long as the videocard outputs, DVI/HDMI/VGA usually, are what you need for those monitors. If you can, get the 128 bit version of the DDR3 730, it has more bandwidth. I usually suggest the DDR5 version but that's a 1gb card and you might need a 2gb card.

It is for finance/trading. I need to get a card with more memory to run a new program. What are Quadros better for? They are much more but if necessary it is worth it. If I get the one I mentioned above, the GT 730, will the 2 GB be for the 2 monitors run by that card, so if I keep certain software on those monitors will I be ok?

Thanks for helping.
