help interpreting SMART values for external HDD

Hi all, I'm not good at interpreting SMART values but I just wanted to know what all this meant and how it relates to the health of my external HDD (which btw i will be replacing soon)

SMART INFO
HDS reports performance is 100% and health is 95%

Count of reallocated sectors. The raw value normally represents a count of the bad sectors that have been found and remapped. Thus, the higher the attribute value, the more sectors the drive has had to reallocate. This allows a drive with bad sectors to continue operation. While primarily used as a metric of the life expectancy of the drive, this number also affects performance. [See standard ACS-3 for more information]

Hi there Warb_Null,

I would agree with the info already provided. There are some bad sectors on the drive. This is why, you should really back up the important data stored on the drive. It could last for years or, on the other hand, it can fail in a couple of days. Bad sectors would continue to appear.
