I'm 4 years into my current build and this year I'm finally upgrading the motherboard and cpu. My current case is a Haf X and while i love the darn thing I need a new look. I'm 100% air cooling, and I do not see that changing. I also have fairly large hands and the room in the Haf X is rather mandatory.
-350ish usd budget. Can go higher, but only if the product is right.
-Wish to get as close, or perhaps surpass, Haf X cooling performance
-Needs to be able to handle EATX if needed.
-Some thought put into the space behind the mobo tray for wiring, such as more space.
-At least 2, with perhaps options to mod in a third, front intake.
-At least 2 fan options for top outtake.
-Noise is not a issue. I actually prefer the white noise.
-Needs to come with air filters, or popular enough you can buy aftermarket filters custom made to fit. I did this with the Haf X, and it's done me well with all the darn dust.
-I prefer to have LESS in the hdd cages, or have them mostly removable.
-Window or Tempered Glass? I don't have a preference.
I had considered the corsair 900D but most reviews focus more on the water cooling capabilities, and rightfully so, than what I am going for. I don't just want some huge case with some fans. I would like something, like the Haf X, that just performs exceptionally well in the air cooling while not looking like anything but a computer case. Sleek is fine, and RGB stuff is okay too. But all those frills are not the top of the list.
