Can I Crossfire a 2GB SAPPHIRE R7 240 with a 4GB SAPPHIRE R7 240 ?

im planning on doing the crossfire thing that my mobo includes, (ASROCK B150m PRO 4) .I'm currently using a 2gb amd sapphire r7 240 graphics card. will the 2gb and 4gb combine to make a 6gb graphics card? i have a 600 watts power supply. pls help me decide before buying. thank you

Yes and no...Yes you can crossfire them, but no the VRAM does not pool, it mirrors. When you crossfire them, you will have 2gb VRAM, the lowest amount of the 2 cards. If one has higher clock speeds than the other, it will usually automatically sync them to the lower speed.

You would be much better off with a single more powerful card as not all programs support crossfire and some actually have decreased performance with it. Not to mention probable...
