I have been looking to buy a new graphics card for my PC but I am not 100% sure which one should I go for. I will have to choose between Ausu Strix GTX 950 and Gigabyte GTX 1050 D5. There is difference of 2,500 PKR in both of these GPU’s.
Asus Strix GTX 950 is around 19,500 in my country. This card have 2 fans and DirectCU II with 10mm Heatpipe that transports more heat away from the GPU and its fans remains off until it reaches 60C.
Core Clock: OC Mode - GPU Boost Clock : 1355 MHZ , GPU Base Clock : 1165 MHz
Power Consumption: up to 150W, 1 additional 6 pin PCIe power required.

On the other hand Gigabyte GTX 1050 D5 is around 17,000 PKR which is 2,500 cheaper than GTX 950. This card is smaller in size and it has only one 90mm fan. It doesn’t require an additional 6 pin power connecter as this card is powered directly from the PCI slot. What I like about this card is: it is faster than GTX 950.

So which one should I go for? I will be playing game like Grant Theft Auto V on high setting around 40 to 60 FPS.

CPU: Core i5 2400.
PSU: Corsair VS550 550 Watt.
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
