hello, i bought a new pc and i have 2 hard drives in my old one, i have a 650w gold corsair power supply.
i have a 6 pin cable (with only 5 actual pins) to 3 sata power connectors (sorry if im wrong with the names, im not an expert), my psu is modular, does it matter where i connect the 6 pin end? or can i just stick it in, and then connect it to the hard drives?

thanks in advance :)

Now be careful. These 6-pin PSU connectors are most frequently used as a PCIe graphics card power supply connector. In most cases that's their function. Just make sure you check your PSU manual if still available or contact Corsair to determine the correct connection for that cable connector. You can do SERIOUS damage to your system "experimenting" with PSU connections.
