Game in window mode (Win10pro) vs GPU clock dropdown (GTX980)

Hallo,
my window mode game hang due to low GPU clock - in GPU Tweak II (v1.4.0.8) I see immediatelly after crash, that core running on 40% or lower only (max 1198, boost 1299 MHz) .
How I can force my ASUS Strix GTX 980 to keep stable clock and not to run in saving mode? With old PC (Win XP, GTX950 w/o Tweak) I had no problem.
Actually Windows 10 pro, driver 376.33

Have you overclocked? These crashes that put the speed down are usually due to an unstable overclock.

Native OC mode or Game mode in ASUS "GPU Tweak II" - problem is, that card is in Win10 all time underclocked (MS Edge about 135 MHz), even not reach half of normal clock (1200 MHz) - up to GPU Tweak monitor ... it seems, that "GPU Tweak II" is not fast enough to increase clock in time to support game in window mode ....
Temp max 60°C, w/o Fan; CPU i7 4790K, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB Samsung Evo 850 in M.2 slot on MB ASUS Z97 Deluxe, Seasonic II 620

Well, thats the problem, time by time I need to run 2. account in MMORPG, but with Win10 I am not expierenced enough (no Alt+Tab like in XP, even Ctrl+Alt+Tab) - how to minimize fullscreen game to run second one and switch inbetween? ;-)

I can see why you wanna run in window mode, but do games run fine in "normal using" full screen mode?

Alt+ Enter could work to get window mode or ingame graphics option to window mode, eventually full screen to disabled/off

Which game is it? Maybe compatibility troubleshooting could help.

It is Runes of Magic, w/o compatibility setting to "XP mode" cannot run in Win10pro at all ...

By loading between regions (not very demanding pic) in the game GPU frekvency is falling to 135 MHz (about 11 % of max). There should be saving option in Win 10 or card SW (GPU TweakII, driver ... ), any idea how to disabled it?.

Its in Nvidia control panel, under 3d settings, then power options.

I dont think that is your problem though, the problem is your crash, which then forces it into low power state.
