Hey guys thought i would ask for another friend. He is looking to get into PC gaming.

His Current Budget is $700 USD.

Thought I would ask here if anyone had any budget builds in mind.

He has a monitor, keyboard and mouse and Windows. Since the budget is sort of low I am thinking of an AMD build but I dont follow AMD so I am not sure which Video cards offer the best bang for the buck.

Any suggestions on components?

Get this build, this will rock 1080p and even 1440p gaming and games today are starting to require more than 8 gigs of RAM so 16 gigs is perfect. Also 6 GB vram will be way more future proof than 3 GB because upcoming games will definitely require more than 3 gig vram.. Although he will have to pay 13 dollars extra but trust me it's worth it.

If he can wait for another 2 months, he should really see how AMD's new CPU lineup works out. $700 is plenty for a PC if he has all the peripherals and windows already lined up.

If he wants the PC right now, it's doable with an intel build.

In this build the 1060 and the i5 6500 team up. I do have to apologize. This is not a budget build with budget gameplay. This is a high end build. Not saying Ultra or Top-end but this certainly isn't an entry level build.

What this doesn't include is a optical drive. If he/she uses DVDs for gaming, OS or anything else, that should be added. Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS will work.

Get this build if he can't wait. Otherwise wait little while longer to see what AMD will come out with for price to performance (sometime in q1 of this year).
