My ASRock computer is about five years old and ever since I updated it with Windows 10 whenever I open a graphics page it freezes for a few minutes and quite often I have to pull the plug. This fault has been blamed on such things as the lack of a proper Driver and various other things by the three so called computer experts I have gone to and eventually the most recent one came back and said that it must be the mother board although he was unable to specify precisely just what the mother board fault was. He then told me that I would need a replacement computer so I suggested that he replace the ASRock mother board upon which he replied that they no longer make mother boards for computers five years old. Does that reply make sense?

It depends - is this a pre-built? Or just an ASRock motherboard? (I'm not aware of any ASRock pre-builts, but best to confirm).

While they may not 'make' ~5 year old chipset boards anymore, they're still available. Whether new or used will depend on the specifics.

Can you post your full system specs? Lockups can be temperature or driver related in addition to faulty hardware potential.
