Recently my rig took a dump on me and im in need of something asap. So I came across this and wanted some thoughts. I know alot of people say stay away from pre builds but here we go lol.

CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA600 Desktop PC - Mid-Tower, AMD FX 6300 Quad-Core Processor, 3.5GHz, 16GB DDR3, 2TB HDD, NVIDIA GF GTX 1050 Ti Graphics, Win 10 Home 64-bit

I was thinking a few upgrades down the road wouldn't hurt. But I could be just throwing money away lol.

You would be.
Stay away from pre-builts is usually closely followed by "Stay away from CyberPower et al"

Investing in such a dated setup (other than the GPU) would be a waste. While there are 'better' CPUs that'll fit the socket, the FX lineup is a very poor investment in 2017.

CyberPower (among others) use lower quality PSUs, motherboards etc that they've bought in bulk & have laying around - and their customer service is horrible (from what I hear).

A Skylake i3 paired with a 1050ti would likely outperform the 6300 in most instances.

How much is that going for? If you have a budget in mind, we could likely suggest a much better use of funds.

I have heard horror stories about customer service and other problems from them, but thought how bad could it really be. Lol!
And the use of parts laying around would just in the end, piss me off and cost more money to replace something when it went bad.

The price point on that is $751.99, in which I didn't think was a terrible cost. Until I thought about a new PSU and other essential items down the road..

If you consider the cost of a new PSU, you're looking at more ~$800-$825

The performance would be absolute night & day.

Lacks an SSD of course, but from what you mentioned, so does the CyperPower - and it's an easy add later.,

Very true regarding the PSU, would turn into a constant money pit lol.

You're a lifesaver, thank you for the information. For a little bit more than the Cyber, I could have a way more reliable and overall better pc. I think the items posted are what I will go for.

Now that setup could run most AAA titles for sometime to come?

Any additional add-ons you suggest besides the SSD at a later time?

There would be no issues running AAA titles for quite a while. You're looking at Very High/Ultra at 1080p today.

Other than an SSD, you could replace the GPU as you go (ideally I'd suggest a 6GB variant from the outset).....beyond that, you're pretty set.
