Hi,

My cpu is a i7 6700k and I have just built my pc, everything seems to be working.

When I go into the bios I notice my cpu temperate rocketing into the 70's, I believe this issue to be my liquid cooling pump failing. The pump makes a gargling noise and the pipes get red hot.

Can anyone cement my theory or let me know of something else.

(Ive reapplied thermal paste and reinstalled the cooler multiple times)

I've re mounted it several times, each time reapplying thermal paste, I tighten it as tight as I can to maintain proper contact.

There was a gurgling coming from the pump area too

Okay, I ordered a replacement pump that arrives today, so I'll find out weather it was the pump or not. I also found out that the original pump I ordered of amazon was actually second hand. This makes me 95% sure it was a faulty unit

Edit: I read somewhere that the back of the pump should have a slight vibration in working correctly, mine didn't and it was very hot
