Hi, I bought myself a beast of a PC not long ago, but Im getting porr performance compared to others with the same system specs..

Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 3
Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.000Ghz
32GB HyperX Savage DDR3
EVGA G2 850W

Could it be my CPU? I have no idea myself :s

Help is appreciated :) :p

Check your nvidia settings and make sure SLi is enabled. I have had issues where SLi turned off after a driver upgrade, and in one case, when I plugged in a USB DisplayLink monitor. (Nvidia didn't want to have people use a high end AMD GPU for graphics and then plug in a low end Nvidia GPU just for PhysX, so if their driver detected another GPU on the system, including a DisplayLink USB video adapter, it would disable features like PhysX and SLi.)

+zwuftie More information is needed. Please name 1-3 games where you're seeing poor performance. In addition to the game titles, what resolution and settings (medium, high, ultra?). Are you seeing stuttering or just low FPS? What FPS are seeing in those 1-3 titles? Did someone assemble this machine for you, or you did it yourself? What model #'s of 1080's do you have? Did you have one 1080 and added a 2nd later on, or started this machine with two 1080s? Please answer my questions ASAP, so that we can help you get your issue resolved before EOD.

Well, I'm playing with 3 monitors, where 2 are plugged in to the bottom card and the main one to the upper card.

Im mostly playing Nvidia surround racing games, but also csgo, bf1 and Overwatch at the highest settings, somehow Im getting 200+ FPs in overwatch all the time

Sli is disabled atm,
