Of these brands which ones provide superior over there counterparts, Looking for build quality and warranty process. Most likely going Z270 as this will be a new build in general for me and a first as well. Watching pauls hardware it seems asus has some nice features. Ears open......

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Asus. Never been so dissapointed in my life considering components problems as I am with my Asus Z170 board, and so are my friends which also has Asus boards, from Pro gaming, Z170-A, to Z170PRO. I'm gonna send it back under warranty for the second time in 3 months. I'm having Voltage problems, RAM problems, black screen problems, XMP problems and i'm not the only one. I had boards from Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, Asrock and I can tell you to go for MSI or Gigabyte or Asrock, just stay away from Asus.

The experience people have with a particular product will influence their next decision, as well as the reviews they leave for others to see. This is just one persons review. Every vendor will have issues where hardware will need an RMA. Be less focused on reviews of an individual and more focused on average reviews of the masses. Also pay attention to customer service and weather or not venders "stand by their product". I've built roughly a dozen enthusiast level gaming pcs, all asus and never had an issue where I had to RMA a motherboard. Do your homework.

Thank you SgtScream, guess you can say I'm dumb to the pc world but it looks very interesting and my boys hog the new xbox one S lol. This board should be fine, what do you think? STRIX Z270-E GAMING seems middle of the road.

That is where im stuck at, currently none at all. However I would not mind learning in the future though. I picked the Intel I-7 7700K due to if we want to play BF1 it will handle it and not lag or so i been told.
