CPU Trouble pls help

Alright so i just recently ran into a problem with my cpu it keeps overheating and at first i did some research and figured that it needed new thermal paste so i applied the thermal paste correctly and it started with out a problem and the temperature held around 15-25c and after a while i noticed that the cpu fan was going a bit slow and i'm not sure if the fan might be bad but when i start it up the fan is slow but after i run it for about 10 minutes it slows down and my cpu temperature jumps immensely to about 85c, Anyone have any tips?

Make sure your fan curve isn't set to a silent profile. You can go into the BIOS to find that out.

i checked bios i couldn't find fan curve but i did see something similar called cool and quiet but i disabled it and still i have the same problem.

Has this problem been happening for some time, or is it just acting up now?

By the way, have you dusted your PC out? Dust buildup could be the culprit.

it's been happening for about two weeks and i've cleaned it out twice inculding the cpu fan. Thanks for the help.

Do you have another fan that you can plug into the CPU fan header? If so, try swapping the CPU fan out for this fan for a few minutes and see if the same thing happens.

yes there is another but it does the same thing in the other one.

If that's the case, it looks like your fan is dying. You might be able to find another stock fan or stock cooler online for cheap. If not, then I guess the only thing to do is either try to jerry-rig a different fan to the cooler or buy an aftermarket cooler.

Whatever you get will be better than a stock one. If you have some money get 212, if you dont then get the one Aspiring recomended.
