If the xmp profiles are enabled at 1600, and they aren't running at said xmp profile speed, you might need to mess around in bios and manually try and get them to play nice. You can definitely get those two sticks to run at 1600, but like calvin said there isn't a guarantee that two separate models, even if they are extremely similar, will run at the same speed right off the bat.

Hi I'm clocking the same ram @1800mhz on fatality z77 professional, intel i35570k, you may need to change the timing in your bios or a tuning utility to achieve a stable state. I'm running them at 10-11-10-30 and set the rest of timers to auto or I can give you all the values I set if you still need, however i cannot guarantee anything to you. do this at your own risk. If you want them @1600mhz you just enable 1600 and it will automatically pic the timing tablet from xmp profile.
