i stopped buying internal optical drives years ago, they die when not in use after more or less 2 years, since i rarely use them, is a waste of money

i have a external optical drive, a lg, works better than the samsung external other friends have

it is a dvd burner, cd burner and dvd reader, when required i connect it to a usb port available and thats it, the rest of the time is stored on bag with other tools i only use to diagnose problems and do specific tasks
