So i am having issues trying to reflash to an older version of a bios. I tried to flash to a new version because there was a cpu issue on my acer e5-523-979H but the version I flashed to has battery and heat issues. Wondering how I can flash back currently running the V1.13 Version

Solution
On some devices when you wish to install an older bios firmware, but a newer revision of it already has been installed or exists it can refuse the down grade.

This normally happens when trying to flash or downgrade via windows software, or through any flashing process provided by the motherboards bios.

There for you will have to use a Dos based flashing program, and the firmware file bios revision of the bios you wish to downgrade to.

By using the Dos based flashing program you can program or use switches in the input prompt to force a bios flash of the Eprom of the bios chip.

So the old firmware bios revision is flashed properly to the bios chip.

First of all you need to know the bios chip type or manufacturer.
