Some questions about Single-Channel memory mode...

I have a single stick of HyperX 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz memory (Codename is "HX424C15FB/16") And I'd like to know:

1. If I were to have gotten two sticks of 8GB memory instead, would I get better framerates?

2. Is it true that Dual-Channel mode is 10-15% faster than Single-Channel?

3. Lastly, will memory speeds (MHz) decrease in Single-Channel mode?

Sorry for these noobish questions, I was tad bit afraid since I got a single 16GB stick instead of two 8GB sticks.

1) Yes depending on the application or game, in some games there would be little to no difference, in others like fallout 4 for example it can make a noticeable difference.

2) Again that depends on the application or game. In some, yes.

3) No the speed or of the memory in terms of timing or MHZ will not be lower do to it being in a single channel.

1.) Yes, but not likely anything that would be noticeable.
2.) Yes. ...memory performance. Translated to memory affecting FPS is a different story and has a smaller impact to increases / decreases.
3.) No. Frequency (speed) and latency stay the same.
