Hello,

I got a weird issue. I did buy a 7700k (not overclocked), on a Z270M Pro4 and with a liqmax ii 120s cooler.
Weird thing is, the cpu stays around 40 to 65 degrees celibates when the pc is idling.
And when i open an application for example, Side Sync or Outlook or a game launcher, the fans hits up and the cpu gets around 70 degrees Celsius, and when the application is open, it goes back to silence.

yes, it runs warm. I was getting spikes to 80-81-82 while playing CSGO. I re-installed my pump head (with new thermal paste) and installed two more fans on my radiator for a push-pull config. I'm getting 3-4 degrees better now, but even still my i5-6600k was OC'ed and rarely hit those kinds of temps under liquid cooling.

I do kinda regret from upgrading my system... I know it can do no harm, but that the fan hits every time is annoying.

it's a small (120mm) radiator, so it has less surface area to absorb heat onto, thus it is less effective at cooling than say a 240mm radiator.
