That sounds like an issue with either the signal cable between the mainboard and the screen or the screen itself. Green shows up instead of black when the signal to the screen sends a full positive link to the green signal instead of no signal. This can happen if the green lead is shorting against something else, especially if this happens in lines across the screen or full screen wide. I've seen dust or bugs in the laptop screen casing cause this. (In one case, ants had gotten into the casing of the screen and pushed the wires over to short them, causing green lines across the screen.) I have never seen software or software corruption cause this kind of issue. This is 99% chance of being hardware.

Best way to make sure it is a hard issue is to make a live USB drive for Ubuntu and start the computer up with that. It bypasses the entire OS without deleting any existing data.

If you don't see the green lines in Ubuntu, then it is software. If you do, then it is hardware. Plain and simple.

dgingeri what should i do now as laptop isn't fixed. Green pixels still float and now I can't play MOH: Warfighter because enemys most body part are bright green.

Please, pls make my screen better.

Did you try the linux live cd or using an external monitor/tv???
Cant fix anything if we cant first get it diagnosed down to software or hardware (and then GPU or screen/ribbon cable if hardware).

Sorry, had to work and sleep for a while there. I'm back now and able to help.

If, as you mention in your private message to me, Ubuntu just shuts down after loading, then there is very likely a hardware problem. Id's advise getting a new laptop at this point. Fixing it will probably cost more than getting a new one at the same performance level. I've seen laptops lately on Amazon that would match this performance, with larger hard drives, at about $300-350. The labor to get this laptop repaired would probably exceed that on its own.

dgingeri...

Well, I tried to put it in an external monitor and the external monitor's display was perfectly fine. As boosted1g said, If it is fine then something's wrong with my screen. In this case what should I do?

Also, The RAM seems to have increased after this issue because before the display got bad, it was 3.00 GB. Now it's 4.00 gb. Is this for real or is it something else?

From the sounds of it you have 4gb and the graphics is using some of it. Do you know how much memory is physically in the computer?

As far as screen goes. It is either the screen or the ribbon cable and there really is no good way to figure out without swapping parts.
Replacing the screen is typically not too bad for average person but getting to where the ribbon connects to the motherboard requires a good bit more dissassembly. If you are not savey/comfortable enough to do this then you would have to take this to a shop. You will pay usually $80-120 for the screen/cable and an hour's worth of labor from the shop.

Hey boosted1g and dgingeri thanks for taking your time and answering this questions. As anyway, I've found out a silly reason for this display corruption. You see, I found out a virus contained in my own anti-virus program of McAfee blah blah ( Silly, Right?) . After I removed it, I went to the toilet to pee and after I came back the display was back to normal. Not believing it, I played MOH: Warfighter and the performance improved hugely!!! So I call it " The Rat caught by the Cat." Now the problem's solved.

P.S. Does adding a cooler improve performance? Because I didn't use mine for 2 months.

Glad your issue is resolved.
Weird that if it was a virus that it would not show the same distortion on an external screen then. A virus could trick the GPU to output the dots or could just consume so much resources that the GPU is overloaded and cant process the image well, but in both of these circumstances it should have displayed with the same problems on an external screen.

As far as a cooler goes and cooler will never "add" performance. Now if your laptop is getting very hot then the extra airflow from the cooler can keep the system from getting too hot and causing it to "subtract" performance. If the laptop is "hurts your hand to touch it" hot then you should be using a cooler (and also use a can of compressed air and spray into the vents), but if it just gets a little warm then you are fine assuming you are gaming on a flat hard surface (not something like a bed or other soft surface which can block the air vents).

OK Guys, something really ( and by really, I MEAN really! ) strange happened. The display is alright, don't you worry, but some of the programs aren't opening. The say {ERROR 123... PLEASE WAIT FOR COMPUTER TO BOOT} And it shuts down on me. I don't know what the error means, but it's really frustrating. Fortunately, my Firefox Mozilla Browser's working so I posted this. Help me!!!
( Oh, and by the way, you should see my performance trouble issue problem i pasted on here. Just search "performance trouble issue" and you'll find it. This one is my second laptop.
