Hi,

Please suggest a motherboard for i5 7600K. I have a budget of Rs 15k. These are the ones available in my country which fit in my budget. I am using a GTX 1070 and in future may buy a second card for SLI.

Z170 series
1. Gigabyte GA-Z170M-D3H - Rs 11k
2. Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WiFi - Rs 12.5k
3. MSI MOTHERBOARD Z170A TOMAHAWK - Rs13k
4. Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Ultra GAMING - Rs15k
5. MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X - Rs 15k
6. Asus Z170I Pro Gaming - Rs 15k
7. MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON -Rs 16k

Z270 series
1.MSI Z270 PC MATE - Rs 12k
2.Asus STRIX-Z270F-GAMING - Rs 15k
3. Asus STRIX-Z270H-GAMING - Rs 15k
4. MSI Z270 KRAIT GAMING - Rs 15k
5. MSI Z270 GAMING M3 - Rs 15k

Solution
The Z170 boards will require a BIOS update to run the 7600K and, while you can purchase a a cheap Skylake chip to update it, or have a local store update it for a fee - either way you'd end up spending more than if you just invested in a Z270 board from the outset.

Neither the Z270 PC MATE or Z270 GAMING M3 support SLI, so if you want to keep your options open for SLI, Either ASUS or the MSI KRAIT would be the options.

Personally, I find ASUS to have slightly better QC over time, so I'd look between both Strix boards.

The Z270F is mATX (and includes AC wifi) vs the ATX form factor of the Z270H

I'd opt for the Z270K personally, but you can't go wrong with either.
