can i use a headset for game sound and voice chat?

i have a turtle beach XO seven headset for my pc. is it possible to use this headset for game sound AND voice sound or not? my current setup in terms of audio is i have cheap earbuds for game sound and i dont have i microphone but i was thinking of getting the blue snowball soon, but is it possible to just use this headset for mic and game sound or not? ive got a pre built pc called the vortex core gaming pc running windows 10

Yes as long as the microphone and headset are both recognized by the pc. To change the default device that is used, right click on the speaker in the taskbar tray and click playback device. Select the device you want to be the default and do the exact same thing for the recording device

My headset inst being recognized on my pc all there is is speaker and 4 nvidia outputs
