Hello Everyone,

I was looking into buying a new graphics card when I stumbled upon MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card for $140, but then I noticed that the MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GAMING X 4G Video was $155. Do you believe it is worth spending the extra $15? I know it's not a lot more but I just wanted to know if there is any considerable performance differences? Or does anyone have another graphics card that would be better for a similar price? Thanks in advance!

Solution
no it's not worth it. a difference of like 40mhz will give you an extra .2fps. plus you can overclock either one so like whatever, right? i'd get the cheaper one.

Go for the gaming X if you have space for it inside your case, and your PSU has the required 6-pin connector. Longer card with better cooling. Higher core & memory clocks. Fans have silent option which the smaller card does not.

Not the same card at all. One is a single fan mini that draws all it's power from the board slot. The other is full length twin fan with an additional 6-pin connector. If overclocking and less noise are important to you, consider spending $15 more.

Thats why i said get something mid range. It won't be too far off the high end options and perform great.

i say this because overclocking and noise are usually the least concern for people who are shopping for a low end GPU. either way you'll get an extra 5-10% performance with the best of luck. and most people shopping for a budget card arent going to overclock anyways.
