I was wondering if I can use this Y Cable in order to plug both H100i v2 and the Corsair Commander Mini on the the same Usb 2.0 Header on the Motherboard.

I saw some posts of people who move pins from one connector to another and it worked.
Since I dont want to do this (big hands) I would like to know if this splitter might work.

Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly you shouldnt. I believe corsair requires you to use a different header for every link capable device (the thread in question was H100i and AXi). The reason being the software wouldnt be able to distinguish each device with a splitter.

I see however, the USB Header contains two USB ports, total of 9 pins (4 pins for each USB plus a NC). In addition to that, the cables of the H100i and Commander contains only 4 pins (4 wires). The theory is each device will use a diferent USB port (of 4 pins each).
