Hi everyone, I currently have an MSI GT72 Dominator(for fan/cooling reference) with an i7 6700HQ in it. I was wondering how much it could be overclockable, if so what should I use to overclock it?

Solution
Yes & No. I believe the Intel Extreme Utility can be used to OC a little bit but equivelant to a BCLCK OC on a desktop................ but laptop cooling solutions are usually (barely) sufficient for the stock base/boost speeds only. I can't imagine you'd be able to push any form of decent OC to give you noticeable results while remaining sufficiently cool.

Not that I know of (only the HK models). Plus most mobile BIOS's dont let you do any sort of overclocking. Not that you would want to because the CPU's already run really hot. pushing them any farther and you really run the risk over frying the CPU.
