Where to connect atx 12v

So i have just build my first pc and it wont boot. Turns out i didnt install the atx 12v. I connected the 8 pins end to the motherboard just above the cpu but i cant find any place to plug in the other end neither ob the motherboard or the psu.
Please help me and sorry that im such a noob at this.

but never mind
i have found the problem :)
turns out i was using a reserve cable. There was the right cable already connected to my psu and now its working.
anyway thanks for your time :)
