Hi, so at the moment I'm using my 2012 HP G72 I3 laptop on a daily basis connected to my Samsung 4k Smart TV for web browsing, YouTube and a lot of films. However it's age has started to show and I'm looking to build a decent PC for around £500 to £600 to take its place. I've been looking around and put together a somewhat decent build for my needs and to cover me for the forseable future but I'm sure you guys have things you would change to make it better. Oh and by the way, I don't have too much time to play any games right now so a graphics card is not important to me just yet therefore ill buy that later on. (Any suggestions for best GPU around £200?)

Anyways, here's the build:
CPU- I5 7600K 3.8GHZ Kaby Lake
£236.99
CPU Cooler- Hyper 212 EVO
£26.98
Motherboard- Gigabyte B250M-D3H
£74.98
RAM- Hyper X Fury Black 8GB DDR4
£61.88
SSD- Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
£87.99
Power Supply- Corsair RM650X Modular
£87.99
Case- CiT G Force
£33.75

Total = £610.56

Again any help will be appreciated as I don't know much in this department. Thanks,

That board only supports HDMI 1.4. You need one which supports HDMI 2.0 for full 60hz 4K support. Otherwise you'll be shopping for a video card.

Also the board only supports ALC892 audio. You will want a Realtek ALC1150 audio chipset for better audio support. Unless I'm mistaken about the audio chipset running the integrated HDMI audio. I know in video cards the HDMI audio is done through the GPU driver not onboard. I am not completely certain about the integrated HDMI.

Oh I see, thanks for your answer, so would you have a good motherboard in mind that I should get instead of the one I've got picked at the moment?

Alright, thanks a lot, I will look into that actually, they sound pretty good!

I just looked. Unfortunately it appears only the very expensive motherboards have HDMI 2.0 support for some reason. 250+, so it is not worth it. Considering you could purchase an HDMI 2.0 compliant video card for less. Which could also hardware decode/encode h.264 video.

You'll have to use a Displayport 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. Just be sure it actually supports HDMI 2.0. Some sellers advertise HDMI 2.0 but it is actually HDMI 1.4. Also be certain to buy an HDMI 2.0 compliant cable.
DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plugable-DisplayPort-Supports-displays-3840x2160/dp/B00S0BWR2K/
HDMI 2.0 Cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-High-Speed-HDMI-2-0-Cable/dp/B014I8SSD0/

I was going to suggest a Z270 chipset if you ever want to overclock. After reviewing all the options on PCParticker.com. The Z270 chipset will blow your budget. Although Displayport is available on cheaper B250 boards. It is not on any Z270 which doesn't cost a small fortune. At which point you are better off with a lower cost Z270 board and a Video Card with true HDMI 2.0 support.
