I am looking into getting a mechanical keyboard and I would like to know if the Aukey Gm-K3 is any good. Right now it is $59.99 on Amazon and looks really good for the price. It has full RGB lighting with a little of customization. It has Outemu blues, and a full number pad on the left. It also has individual lit keys, which I want because my current keyboard doesn't and I hate it because in the rainbow wave pattern it is more of just flashing, or a stage like sequence.
If this is not a good keyboard, then can I have some recommedations for ones with full RGB lighting and blue switches that are under $100?

thanks in advance!

https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches-Customizable/dp/B01IRASQA0 Those reviews look pretty promising. Some items from the few major companies dont even have 5 stars. I'd go for it if you are interested in them.

yeah I know, but it just seems too perfect to be that price, because most RGB mechanical keyboards are upwards of $100

Thats what i would of thought too, but reviews don't lie. I know Aukey makes some pretty reliable charging stations for phones and such. I think its safe to say it will be a quality keyboard.

Ever since Cherry's patents for the MX switches ran out, Many Chinese companies have been fast-and-furiously cloning them. That explains the significantly lower cost for the same design. Only time will tell if they have the same German quality. Chinese mass production quality has gotten quite a bit better in the past half decade.

If you decide to buy it, you'll be one of the early adopter guinea pigs for the Chinese Cherry MX clones and find all the flaws for us. ;)

I received it today! It is really nice. It is also really loud! It feels pretty high quality it is really heavy too. The keys have a bit of a textured feeling to them, which feels pretty nice. I don't like the font on the keys, because they are sometimes a little hard to read if you don't know which key it is. The space bar feels pretty cheap though and I think is the biggest downfall. It make a little bit of a springy noise when it comes back up. I think this can be fixed if the added 2 more switches because it has slots for 2 more. It did not come with any to put in there though. The lighting is really nice with some cool features. It is not like the lighting on my old keyboard how it skipped on the wave and wasn't a smooth motion because it wasn't individually lit. This one is a smooth motion and individually lit. Overall I really like it and Will Recommend it to anyone that wants an RGB mechanical keyboard that is relatively cheap.
