I've asked a few questions recently, I really appreciate the help!
So I'm currently planning on spending about $1,800 on a gaming PC. I'm leaning towards going 1440 resolution over 1080p.
I'm trying to decide if I want to go with an ultrawide monitor (probably 32ish inch) or with two monitors that are about 24". The reason I'm struggling with the decision is having dual monitors is important to me for practicality reasons. I'll almost always have a game on the left screen and facebook/youtube/reddit on the other screen. Having this all visible at once is important to me, and I wouldn't want to run a game on half an ultrawide monitor.
My questions are as follows:
1) Is there any drastic GPU difference between the two options? Could I use the same GPU with the ultrawide compared to the dual 24"?
2) I currently have a 1080p monitor. If I were to get a 1440p ultrawide, would I be able to use that for gaming and the 1080p monitor as a side monitor? Or would using two different resolutions look / preform poorly?
3) Any other general advice/tips regarding the situation would be appreciated. I really enjoy the process of building a PC but I definitely wouldn't be able to do it without your help!
