(Posting this here because sources continue to point towards a chipset issue, and maybe a BIOS one)

System specs:
MODEL: MSI GT72vr Dominator Pro-015
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i7-6700HQ
MOBO: MSI MS-1785
RAM: 16GB 2400MHz
GPU: GTX 1070 8GB

Had it for about a day now. HWiNFO64 reported a PCI/PCIe Bus Error, so I went and checked the event log and found this:

Slight variations continue to occur (about five times in the past 24 hours). All drivers up to date. Current BIOS version is E1785IMS.10D, but E1785IMS.112 is available for download on the MSI support page for this laptop. Not sure where to go from here.

Yes. The GT72vr Dominator Pro-015 comes with a built-in webcam. I checked, and it seems the device ID for the errors is always either '0xa114' or '0xa116'. There are a couple of other small differences, but so far it's just those two devices.

It doesn't seem to be hurting me or my ability, bur I don't like giving not-problems the chance to turn into problems.
