Safe vcore for 8350 with a nhd15?

Hey guys. So I have a hyper 212 cooler and I'm getting a noctua nhd15 tomorrow. Right now I have a 4.6 GHZ overclock at an absolute maximum 1.56 w vcore. Is this too high? Can anyone give me tips on how to lower the vcore while still maintaining my oc? I really want to OC more once I get my noctua so another question I have is that is any vcore considered "safe" as long as the CPU stays under a certain temperature under full load? Like say I had a vcore at 1.92 w with a max temp of 65 degrees under full load (I know. Probably WAY too high on the vcore, but this is just an example).

At 4.6Ghz the FX 8350 cpu should be able to run at a core voltage of around 1.4v to 1.45v and be very stable in a prime 95 cpu stress test.

The max temp the cpu is currently reaching at 1.56v should reduce by about 10c if the cpu cooler you have is good enough Cole

My FX 8350 is currently running at 1.4v core. @ 4.5Ghz @ 42c at windows desktop.
Just to give you an idea, but it is cooled by a corsair H60 AIO. with medium fan rpm setting at 50%.

100% stable in a prime 95 stress test.

1.56v for the Vcore is a bit high BTW when overclocked to 4.6 Ghz.

Absolute max core voltage of a FX based cpu is 1.6v.
Above it will cause damage to the cpu over an extended period of time.
The more voltage, and overclock frequency set the higher the end temp will be, and the cpu will heat very rapidly above it`s rated TDP without an after market air cooler of a good size or a good AIO water cooler.

Just out of intrest, could you post what your temp readings are at idle at windows desktop, and under load for me Cole pls.

Can't send pics but idle temps at 4.6 averaged around 41 to 45. How can you achieve a vcore so low? Do you have turbo core enabled? I was NEVER able to get a stable oc on those vcore settings. My Mobo is an MSI 990fxa gaming Mobo with a Corsair 750 w power supply
