cant download after reinstall of vista

hello so i reset my windows vista, and after letting it update i tired to go download google chrome or a game, but internet explorer wouldn't download anything it had a little yellow triangle in the bottom left coroner of the brower. i also got an error code it said

If you re-installed a "vanilla" Windows Vista (as opposed to running factory recovery on a pre-built PC) you need to download motherboard manufacturer's drivers from their website, using a PC that's got a working internet connection.

Then transfer those drivers to the PC which needs them, and install them.

I'm assuming your system specs in your signature are up to date - - home-built with MSI Z97 Gaming 5 mobo:

I reinstalled windows with out the disc he had a recover option that's what I've used
