My specs are as follows.

I7-4790 non k
Evgs gtx 1070 ftw
Msi z97 krait edition mb
16gb ram @ 1600mhz
850w corsair gold psu
Internet 65/26

I want to start streaming overwatch at 720p 60fps.

This might be a dumb question, but I am correct in thinking my equipment is more than enough to stream ow from a single pc?

I ask because I am afraid my CPU can't handle it. (Don't know why I think that, I just see most streamers have 6700s or above, so I figured better safe than sorry and ask) I am aware obs is light on the system

Ty for your time.

Nah, you're good.
The 6700 is better than the 4790, but it's marginal.
The individual core performance is more than sufficient, and it has the cores to play pretty much everything out there plus have some standing by to do the encoding.

You can stream easily with a GTX1070.
I'd personally recommend streaming with NVIDIA Shadowplay, mainly because in my experience this is easier to setup and has less impact on the performance of your system.
