Can't get to boot from optical ga-b150-d3h-gsm

Hi, need some help with this mobo ga-b150-d3h-gsm
I get in the uefi and choose other OS [strike]tring yo[/strike] trying to get cms activated and i can't change the sata mode to IDE, it only shows ahci mode. It's a new rig with this components:
Mobo ga-b150-hd3-gsm
Core i7 6700k
Intel ssd 6 m.2 128gb
2x8 gb ddr4 gskill ripjaws
Pny gtx-1070
Trying to boot from a win8 pro dvd

turn of sercure bot and turn on legacy boot device. you should then be ablke to boot from cd rom.
if not use 4G USB STICK and microsoft free iso to usb tool. use the dvd to make a new bootable usb stick.

You don't need to change anything related to SATA or IDE mode.

Just keep the bios settings as UEFI

Insert the windows DVD into the drive and keep press F12 when the Gigabite logo appears that should bring the boot menu.

Select UEFI DVD drive or somthing like that and it should boot from the DVD.

When I go that way the only option available is the intel m.2 ssd, thanks

Going with the stick, thanks for the tip. Another question, when i get the os installed i will see as an available device my optical drive?
