Hi, I have an AsRock EP2C602-4L/D16 mo-bo, I've just been just playing around with the CPU SmartFan feature, I can't seem to find anywhere to set the target temps.

When I set it to SmartFan the fan speed drops to around 700rpm, and when rendering in Vray at full tilt the fan speed doesn't seem to increase.

CPU temps average around 52 when rendering, but fan speed stays at 700.

Is there a better way to monitor / control the fan speed on this board ? preferably to be able to trigger a fan increase at certain temp.

Ideally I'd like a real time visual of the fan speed in windows so I can monitor / control speed increase but so far none of the sensor software I've tried picks up the fans.

I tried Speedfan but all the fans show a 0% all of the time.

Why? The whole point of me asking is to be able to manually control and view the fan speeds, the only other option is to set the fan speed in the bios to a set percentage or full on, I only need the fan speed full on when rendering.

I find it strange there's a "SmartFan" feature on this board but no option to set target temps and speeds, there's only one brief mention of it in the manual and no detailed description.

Speedfan doesn't seem to support the board/chipset so I've sent a report to the devs, maybe a better route to take.
