High Ping Spikes to Modem

I am getting horrible ping spikes which make playing league of legends basically impossible. My ping is sometimes at around 20 and other times around 100. I use an ethernet cable to connect to my router. I have pinged my router multiple times and always get <1ms. I'm not sure what is causing this. It does not seem to be related to how many people streaming things because it happens late at night too. Any help is appreciated. This never used to happen until a few weeks ago.

A fluctuation from 20 to 100 (This isn't THAT bad) is acceptable especially if you have a broadband connection. You and the whole neighbors shares one circuit.
However, someone else in your house might be streaming, playing games, or downloading something. This would most likely explain why you experience the ping fluctuation.

Yeah, I figured this is part of it. It's just disappointing and annoying because this never used to happen and no change in internet activity has happened in my household.

Have you tried restarting your modem, then your router?

I've tried that and many other things. It turns out it is only this device that is having internet issues. I ran a malwarebytes scan and it detected potential threats and deleted them. I not sure what else to do.
