You'd be better off with a gtx1050ti, same power requirements as the 750ti, quite often cheaper than the 750ti and far outperforms it. It would be a good match for that older i5, especially at that resolution of the TV.

H1Z1 might be difficult. That's an extremely heavy cpu usage game, so there might be some fps issues with that older cpu. It might be possible to upgrade the cpu, not expensive at all on ebay, but much will depend on the motherboard and what exact cpus the bios will recognize. If it is a Dell system, they'll have those answers.

Get an SSD of 120-250GB.
Definitely consider upgrading your graphics card for a better + newer one.
Upgrade your CPU as well for something like the i3-7350K (you would need to switch out your motherboard and ram though). Or get a newer i5 which is compatible with your motherboard.
And the last upgrade you should worry about is getting faster memory and getting 8gb.

I agree with Karadjgne, instead of a GTX 750 TI, you can get a GTX 1050 TI for a similar price if you search for a little bit and it will give you much more performance.
