Hey so I'm going to start off by listing my parts and then my problem
New - msi z170a pc mate motherboard
New - i5 7600k kaby lake cpu
New - corsair vengeance 16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram
New - corsair carbide series spec 2 case
Old - gtx 750 ti gpu
Old - ssd/hard drive
Old - cx 500watt psu
Ok so I put this thing together and first off the power button didn't work but the reset button did work to turn it on I also made sure they were plugged in correctly and even tried flipping it around and got nothing from the power button but when I touched the 2 pins with a screw driver it turned on. After its turned on I got nothing going to my monitor nor do I have any power going to my mouse/keyboard but all fans in the computer are running. So I try to turn it off with the power button at this point but a red light flashes on the motherboard and says the ram is had, but after all of this I just want to know is this happening because the bios needs to be updated? And why is the power button not working, I would assume it's defected from the case.
