Hey guys! Displayer here and now my first laptop has performance issues. Ex: While playing Pokemon Ruby it runs on 2 Fps. ( in my opinion) HOw to improve it?

Edition- Windows 8.1 Pro
System- Intel(R)Core(TM)i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50 Ghz 2.50 Ghz
Installed Memory is - 8.00GB RAM
System Type- 64-bit Operating System
Number of processor cores- 2
Dedicated Video Memory- 1500 MB
Available Graphics Memory- 4500 MB
System Video memory- Absolute zero
Chip set- Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type- Internal
Adapter String- Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Bios Information- Intel video bios
Graphics drivers- NVIDEA V 324.021????? + AMD Radeon + Intel graphics HD

Solution

OP would refer to the original thread in the topic, OS is operating system, ssd is solid state drive.

Go to the HP support site, and get the video drivers from there. Not sure how you can have all three brands of video driver in the system.

he, he hey hang the 9 the display got corrupted since 13.01.17. .

Just saying when it started does not really help, what happened if anything before it started? Also need info about the computer, what you tried already, did you monitor temps? Try a clean Windows setup? When do those pixels show up? Are they in random spots at times or always the same ones? Can you post a picture?

Hang the 9...

These pixels generally stay in the same spots but they flicker. After I Installed Assasins Creed : Black Flag IV
the display began to rot. I uninstalled it thinking it to be virus or malware but it didn't get cured. I also ran a system check-up and no viruses found, even in full scan. Oh, these pixels shows from the time I boot it up, to the time I shut it down. Even in safe mode it does'nt appear to get off. The Performance is laggy, help me if you will.

Sounds like a bad video card. One thing I don'g get, you have the onboard Intel chip listed, yet in video drivers you have nVidia, AMD and Intel listed, why?

I don't know for whatever uses I installed it, but after Uninstalling NVIDEA And AMD video cards, the display began to get cured, but the performance still was under rot performance. So I left the Intel Graphics HD ( because i trust Intel). Now I don;t know what to do, so give me a good answer. ( Also, the pixels are not there)

Sorry, I misread your initial post. I didn't see that you're using a laptop. A little while ago Microsoft stopped supporting windows 8 (updates). Outdated drivers could be causing your issues. Also, Pokemon Ruby is a Gameboy game and not optimized for pc. If you want to sink a lot of money into it, you could construct an external gpu setup. Probably cheaper to just get a newer laptop.

Has nothing to do with trusting Intel, you need to install the correct drivers for your hardware. You should not have both AMD and nVidia video cards, and an Intel video card in the system. What exactly do you have for the video card? What model and brand of computer is this?

For hang-the-9 - I didn't really checked deep into this, that what I have for the video cards. I am going to dig deeper into this. Hewlett- Packard designery, it is. P.S- Could you tell me what do you mean by OP, OS AND SSD?

For jwcrellin- Just upgraded to WINDOWS 10 Home edition. Also, I don't think Pokemon ruby is really not optimized for laptops. If I am wrong, send a private message to me.
