So after I have overclocked my amd athlon 4800+. Not enough juice. Stock geekbench singlecore score: 1050. After overclock around 1300 points. So I am cheap and i look into ebay. I found Intel Xeon X5680 it has 6 cores and gets singlecore score of around 3200 points for 105 dollars. And you can get board for it 105 dollars. Ends up 210 dollars without the ram sticks. Then I found i5 3470 for 100 dollars and you can get board for cheap because 1155 life. Ends up like 150 dollars. And it gets 2800 singlecore score but it only has 4 cores. So i can't decide. Maybe there's a better deal somewhere. But i think upgrade from dual core 1800 multicore score to 12300 score six core xeon would be soooo good.

Fx-8350 + Asus M5A99Fx PRO R2. 0 looks good. For 170 Euro, pretty damn good. Just make sure you have a good PSU to go with it. If gaming is primary need, go with 8GB ram. If some video editing and stuff comes in, go for 16GB. In any option, make the RAM dual channel by using 2 X 4 GB or 2 X 8GB.

The x5680 is 1366 socket,which socket's mobo's are too rare or expensive,what kind of mobo did you find?If its an oem motherboard then it will need propable ecc ram which is expensive and you cant be sure about the cpu compability.

Better to check an amd fx 83xx with a quality cheap mobo,it has about the single perfomance of the 1st core i architecture and much better multicore perfomance.

Oh thank you.I'll look into it I also found fx 6300. Asus m5a97 board and 12 gb of ddr3 1600 mhz for 130 euros.

I also found Fx-8350
Asus M5A99Fx PRO R2. 0 for 170 euros. And for 200 euros i found Amd fx 8150 + Asrock 9 7 0 A-G/3. 1 + Crucial 8 GB OF 2 + Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 Evo.
