Hello Tom's. I am a PC building newbie, and running a AMD rig i built September 2016 for personal + budget reasons, i do not have performance issues on my rig, but my PSU with my FX rig is kinda spooky. Basically it's a DEEPCOOL DQ750ST, rated on Johnnyguru as i built spontaenously on a budget with unbalanced choices. In the end the gigabyte was the best board i could afford as well as the case i already got bought, and PSU and RX 470, i wanted to build a cheap AMD system to hold me pre-Zen and i am impressed with its results for the space (M-ATX) and VRMs. However, with a 4,2ghz compared to 4ghz on my FX 125W 6-Core FX-6350 i get very hot PSU during rendering and stressy loads. I know this PSU can get warm and has protection but it has Chinese capacitors by 'Elite' at 85c rated safe temperature. Since it has to stay under 40c for some reason, it will ramp up the fan gradually, i think this PSU is very smartly designed for a cheapo budget,, and its a bit noisy, but thats ok as long as it works. However it gets hot with AMD FX CPU, compared to same GPU with i5-2400 Dell rig i used to use. I noticed it increases during rendering loads but it never crashes or 'overheats' it just works. But it gets hot on the back of the rig. is that just FX power from the mobo, or the PSU not good enough?

Solution
From looking at the specs of the PSU and the specs of your components I'd say you're well within the limits of your PSU. That PSU might not be the best out there but you've left enough head room that you shouldn't come close to maxing out that PSU.
