I just inserted a new mobo in my case, and i did a fresh install of Windows 10, but after installing Windows 10 the network adapter doesn't work. In device manager it shows error code 10. It has a Intel 82579LM Gigabit network card.
It's a Asus Maximus IV Gene-z motherboard
I tried the following
Clear CMOS
Reset BIOS
Downgrade BIOS
Downloaded driver from manufacturer website
Let Windows install the drivers
I can't seem to get the network adapter running
I've tried pinging 127.0.0.1 and i get 4 packets.
Any solutions for this?
