I am having trouble connecting to the Internet using my laptop. It is stuck on limited connectivity. I searched on Google on how to fix this problem and tried all the solutions and keeps on staying on a limited connection. I unplugged my modem and waited 15 seconds and then tried to connect again, still it stays on a limited connection.

Are you sure that your phone is connecting via your network and not some nearby "hot spot"?

Are wired devices having any connectivity problems?

May take longer than "15 seconds" to go through a recovery.

Do you have a combined modem/router? Unplug and wait a few minutes. Then try again

If separate devices, unplug the modem and then the router. Wait a few minutes and plug-in the modem. Wait a few more minutes and plug in the router. Wait a few minutes again and then test the connectivity connectivity.

If connectivity remains limited contact your ISP and report the problem. Have them check things out from their end. May take a couple of calls.
