Hi, I have a new build pc using a Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 Ultra MOBO. This is the first time I have built a pc. From watching videos, etc, I know I need to download drivers (audio, inf, intel management engine, lan, intel rapid storage technology). I can find them all on the Gigabyte website and download them individually. I also see some others that I am not as sure about (Thunderbolt drive and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5).
I also see that Gigabyte has a tool called the Gigabyte download center. I assume it is a utility you can download and run and it tells you what you need.
Does anyone have preferences for a tool like this? Is it better, especially for a newbie, to use this rather than pick and choose what I think might be the right drivers? I am leaning towards trying to learn more by doing them individually. If I am missing anything I would appreciate being told!
I do know that for graphics, I will go to nvidia to download drivers.
Thanks for the help!
