hp z420
hp z800
hp z820

The "20" units are newer. The z8xx units support dual CPUs. But they are sold with varied configurations. You would have to provide more configuration info on the choices to have anyone provide legitimate recommendation.

I would probably go for the 420. The CPU is a little slower in clock speed, but it is a generation newer. It has more memory bandwidth than the X5650.

The Quadro 2000 will depend on how many and what resolution you are driving. I think for autocad it will be OK.

hum isn't is cpu power most important for AutoCAD since it is massive calculations ?
Why the dismiss the DUAL CPU HP Z800 over the SINGLE CPU ? HP Z420

As for the video card, looking at benchmarks it is a middle range just slightly powerful than the Quadro K2000

a gaming video card will simply not do the trick
I would research the difference and the need of the version of autoCad your running/.

now considering that it is a workstation, and that 12cad.com recommends for a workstation;
Intel Xeon E3-1220V3 Haswell
8GB of RAM, Nvidia Quadro K620 2GB
1TB 7200 RPM HDD, Windows 8.1 Pro

And comparing the E-2650 versus the E-1220 (could not find a comparison with E-2660) as the E-2660 will beat the scores of the E-2650 presumably.
I would say your HP z420 should be.
