what is the best Workstation for engineering applications Like Autocad ?
i have 4 options
hp z420
hp z800
hp z820
hp z600

Solution
now considering that it is a workstation, and that 12cad.com recommends for a workstation;
Intel Xeon E3-1220V3 Haswell
8GB of RAM, Nvidia Quadro K620 2GB
1TB 7200 RPM HDD, Windows 8.1 Pro

And comparing the E-2650 versus the E-1220 (could not find a comparison with E-2660) as the E-2660 will beat the scores of the E-2650 presumably.
I would say your HP z420 should be.

what about app like ( 3D max - sketch up - inventor ) with Quadro 2000

hum isn't is cpu power most important for AutoCAD since it is massive calculations ?
Why the dismiss the DUAL CPU HP Z800 over the SINGLE CPU ? HP Z420

As for the video card, looking at benchmarks it is a middle range just slightly powerful than the Quadro K2000

a gaming video card will simply not do the trick
I would research the difference and the need of the version of autoCad your running/.

AutoCAD certifies hardware with their software and NONE are GTX series

from CAD3d web site, here are their 3 Low, Mid and high Video card to use.
